Hello there!
You may not know me, so allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ryan E. Holmbeck. I am a twenty-something white male residing in the expansive suburbs of Aurora Colorado. On many occasions I have been referred to as an individual of many talents, though I wish I knew what those were. However, I do know I have a strong affinity for literature and art. Because of these interests I am currently working slowly towards a bachelors in English and Art History. That pretty much sums it up.
At the moment, unfortunately, my life is far from exciting and even farther from entertaining. One day, however, I plan on being a writer. Whether I write journals, essays, comic books, screen-plays, or novels is still up in the air. I suppose it will all come with time. But I still wanted to get a head-start one way or another. So a friend of mine suggested I should start a blog, something I can show to those of you out there who just might take interest in whatever I manage to produce. That said, I have created this site (or rather created this account) for just such a purpose. Every week I plan on dropping something I have written, be it a short story, a handful of poems, movie review, book review or an opinion column; it is my goal to update this site on a weekly basis. Please feel free to browse my site, and I welcome any criticism or opinions you have to offer. Especially in regards to any fiction I may post.
